Salvia is a member of the mint family. Almost all known plants were produced from a clone, seeds are rare and expensive. Usually buy it in standardised 5x, 10x and sometimes 15x strength viles. Legal here in the UK.
After smoking it ith two friends they were also keen to try. Harsher then cannabis or tabacco but knocks you for 6. We smoked 10x strength. After inhaling several times I forgot where I was and what I was doing after each toke. Colours were intensified and when I moved it felt like I was moving through syrup. My other friends reacted differently - they both said 'they were their brain' ie they fely like a presensce looking out of their head while their body felt like a robot. Other people have reported this. One frinds said whatever was on his mind while the other saw people where there were no people. After 10 - 15 minutes the most intense part is over, but don't underestiamte it. I would advise a sober sitter.
Erowid.org has got a lot of trip reports for Salvia.

I tried salvia a couple times (not the extract, just the regular leaf) and didn't get anything off it except a few strange physical sensations for a couple of minutes. People react differently to it, and potency varies a lot, so either I just don't react to it very much or it was shitty salvia. In either case, it was a waste of $15 and I ended up giving most of it to a friend.
