use low light levels, and don't feed, during cloning ... this forces the roots to go in search of water and nutrients, resulting in, 'more roots' ... good luck :smokin:

Yes you can clone lower stemmed growths.
Take a clean razor blade and gently scatch off the hard outter shell of the stem to reveal the fleshy part.
Ideally, always clone from the third highest node and down.

here are the 2 clones i took off my female plant 4 days ago the question i got how can they be growing without any roots?, they have grown out a bit in the past few days, also when will i know if the clones took to rooting? just waiting to see how these work out before i take any more clippings this is my first attempt at it. wish me luck and thanks in advance for the advice!

Those clones look great! Most clones will grow a little bit after your first cut them, I think its probably due to nutrients still in the stem and such but I could be wrong. Also, are you making sure to keep them under a humidity dome? Clones need 80%+ humidity in order to root, otherwise they will dry up and die. If they start falling over limp within 2 weeks, they are probably dead. If they are still standing at 2 weeks after you cut them, they are probably rooted, although my last set of cuttings took 3 weeks to root, I have never had any other of my 5 sets of clones I've cut take longer than 2 weeks even with splitting/shaving the stem.

thanks dejayou30 im currently using plastic bags and spraying them with water 3-4 times a day, well the inside of the bag that is and a light mist over the tops to keep in humidity
