I couldn't find my old 'travel' log, that I started last summer, so I'll put 'em here ... since most of my pics either had myself, or my RV, in the pic, I had to 'stealthify' :D the pics, sorry :wtf: ... I'm still on the road, and don't need unnecessary attention, ya see :D ... I didn't get all across the country, like I had planned (lack of money and health), but, it's Spring, I'm feeling a little better, and, it's time to burn more gas ;) ... here are some places I've stayed, these past few months ... you can see, being 'homeless', doesn't necessarily mean a great deal of suffering, on my part :) ... heading out again in a couple weeks, so will be taking more pics, for later posting ... no great pics here, but thought some city-dwellers might like them ...

one day, in Nevada, I walked away from camp a bit, to take a desert photo, when I felt like I was being watched :wtf: ... looking around, I see this pronghorn antelope, maybe 50 feet away, just sitting and looking at me :stoned: ... I had the strange feeling, he was as medicated, as I was :D

thanks  ... yeah, I hated blacking them out, but I have a very identifiable RV rig, draws attention ... I come out of WalMart, etc., and find people standing around it, asking questions ... (everybody wants one) ... gets to be a drag, "can I see the inside ?" ... my response: "what would you say if I (a stranger), knocked on your door, wanting to look inside, ?" ... so, we cover it up with black squares, and require search warrants :S2:

yes, it is VERY beautiful here, but getting harder and harder to survive, financially ... State of Kalifornia is broke, and insists on squeezing the money out of the poor, and working folks ... Arnold seems to think we're all moviestars, I guess :wtf: ... but, I have nobody to support, but myself, so I get by pretty well

I think the arch puts you in southern Utah or the Four Corners area. Been there. If you are down that way, look up Hovenweep. Its a Pueblo/Anasazi ruin in that area. I have pics of it, but not on disk. Amazing what they did to survive and incorporate the natural setting into their building structures.

The bridge in this shot looks like I-85 bridge over a segment of Yakima Canyon. I did some artifact snooping in that part of the canyon and got some nice artifacts!!! :D

the Wilson Arch is on state route 191, Utah, about 25 miles south of Moab, yup ... the bridge was in New Mexico, the 'something-Gorge' bridge, I forgot the name, pot-memory :wtf: ... thumbsup:

Hey ImageReaper,
Waste of webspace???? Are you kidding, this one picture of the Salton-Sea sun set would be worth paying for!
I did the RV homeless thing for a short period, allways had a good time. Except once while traveling into Arizona, everyone in an RV had to stop for an "agricultural inspection" (can't bring any fruit that might have bugs into AZ), when the officer asked me if I had any "fruit or guns or expolsives". My answer was, "I'm from NY, what do do you need?" I was there about 2 hours while they did a complete (they thought) search of my rig. Learned to be less funny after that.
BTW: I hope you realize, you are a perfect canidate to do a micro grow with LEDs in an RV.

yup, AZ has always been a pain in the ass ... I witnessed lots of police harassment and abuse, as a truckdriver ... the RV/LED situation, is why I have been watching from the sidelines, waiting for the smoke to clear :smokin:

The Rio Grande Gorge Bride. Its the bridge in the new terminator movie, the gorge as well. It was also in transformers, and many other movies. I know people who have jumped off of that bridge, with parachutes. It is highly illegal, and dangerous. I also know people who have flew under it and around that gorge area it is a tripy bridge to be on during a windy day, very cool place.
very cool pics too, the Utah ones I like, been their a couple times.

haha no problem I do the same thing sometimes, it bugs me when I forget things like that. Still though I remember things better than most who don't smoke herb, funnny thing the human mind. Cool Pics, next time your in NM check out Carlsbad Caverns, very impressive, I think its one of the 8 wonders of the world. The stories that hover around the people that work their are insane and hard to believe but they have history of being somewhat true.
The stories of the reptilian people is the one that really gets me, sightings occurred back in the 1800's and also some what recently, also the stories of hidden glass tunnels in the cavern system themselves, gets me.
I wounder when Atlantis will be one the 8 wonders of the world list, if not soon we will lose it again, That is so modern-age, find the lost city, just to lose it again for another 10,000 years.

how time flies, I was so comfortable at my new campsite, I didn't realize how soon I'm leaving ! ... packing the rig, for Roadtrip 2009 ... should be about 5,000 more miles added to the clock, before I get back (leaving, just in time for the raising gas prices, as usual) ...
