Well peeps despite all your alls successes at cloning using rockwool, peet pellets, humidity domes, systems purchased for cloning bah blah blah the list goes on. I tried them all the miticulous methods of the cut and where on the plant, rooting hormones here I go again. Well I tried them all and never was able to get a clone to root. So I said fuck it Im gonna keep it simple stupid and I cut a clone off a friends plant and put that cutting in a wine glass and some distilled water with a aeriator from a fish tank with a 1/4 inch hose stuck in the wine glass and holy fuckin shit I have roots off that bad girl! I cant fucking believe it but then again I can.
Although I only have 1 or two roots about a little more than 1/8th inch long I would like to know when I can put the clone into soil? Is one root enough to sustain or should I leave it in the bubbled water till I have several or many more.
Thanks in advance!
FUCKIN STOKED

How many days did it take? I am going thru the same thing but my cuttings in my home made aero bubble thing arnt making roots yet.
Hmmm I planted my granddaddy purple with roots that were only 1/4" long, but it had like 10 of them sticking out. I would wait a little longer if I were you to plant.

the more roots it has the better chance of survival. i'd wait til you see a bunch of roots and if posible wait til they are at least 1.5 inches long or longer. while it is at that stage i'd concentrate mostly on developing a good healthy root system so that when its time to veg it will grow much better and faster. congrats on your rooted clone :)

How many days did it take?
From the time I placed the cutting into the wine glass it was approximately 4 to 5 days. Im not sure what your home made aero bubble thing is but if it is done exactly the way I did it just be patient and roots should eventually start to show. I know now because I am staring at mine right now  Of course keep in mind different strains might take longer and I have read there are some strains that are harder to clone than others. Also of course any container should do I just used a wine glass for the fuck of it haha!
Best of luck bro!
