There was a medical study released a couple months ago that stated pot causes testicular cancer. But if you read the report you find that it was just a big lie. They never did an actual study, they just grabbed some random statistics about an unknown group of people and said THC caused the testicular cancer. Tell your mom to look it up on the internet.

i saw an article on cnn.com stated that men normally get testicular cancer at a rate of 1:300 with a 1:5000 chance of dying.
"Marijuana users had 2.3 times the risk of a type of testicular cancer known as a nonseminoma as those who were not. Testicular cancer is divided into two types, pure seminomas (60 percent of cases) and nonseminomas (40 percent of cases.) The link was much weaker in men with seminomas."
it also goes on to state
"These researchers have an association that they've picked up on, but it's a weak association," said Steve Shoptaw, a professor in the department of family medicine and psychiatry at UCLA. "Marijuana tends to be one of those firebrand issues were people can make statements to get airtime, so I'd like to see these findings replicated."
the entire article can be found here (http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/02/09/health.pot.cancer/index.html?iref=newssearch).
they don't do studies to see if marijuana has medicinal value yet all these assholes are doing studies on it's harmful effects. get real.
once again, media hype with no bite!
