choosing hps wattage... :S

hey guyss..
this is going to my first grow so im still researching options..basically i have a 2x2 cabinet thats 5ft high and i dont know whether to get 150w 250w or maybe even a 400watt hps... i planning to flower 4 bluewidows in there (bred by joey weed) any info on heat issues and best wattage for such a space would be appreciated

Remember its your lummens and space, not watts and plants that determine yield. I would do a 400w in there with one plant in SCROG. A 250w would be a lot less heat and cheaper up front.

My closet is 22.5" x 22.5"... I use a 400w hps, 2 plants in Scrog (2nd link in my sig). Yielded a QP in 3+ months (5 weeks veg, 8-9 weeks flower)

With a 400w you will need a cooltube and inline fan. Mine was 129cfm, but now I'm thinking about getting a bigger/better one.

4 plants might be a little tight... but as long as the containers fit, you can always LST or Scrog to make the plants fit better.
