I find myself wondering allot lately, what are the American people really thinking? It seems to me that they have voluntarily surrendered their power to all of those clowns inside the Washington beltway. I look at all the spaceshots on Capital Hill that have been elected to represent us, and it really scares me. Grant it, they are obviously down a few quarts, but what does that say for the people who put them there? Think about it. Those inside the beltway are not there to tell us how to live our lives or what we can or can not do with our own bodies, they are there to listen to the people and do their bidding. Their personal view of any subject is secondary to the concerns and wishes of We The People. A perfect example is the issue of decriminalizing marijuana. We are constantly being told how that can't happen because it is a schedule one drug and has no medical value. This means, it is considered more dangerous than cocaine, opium, amphetamine(dexedrine), demerol, methamphetamine, nembutal, pcp and secobarbitol (seconal). These are all schedule II drugs. I don't know about you, I really don't like my intelligence being insulted by people who are completely out of touch with anything going on outside the three ring circus we call government. It's the influence of all the lobbyists that is keeping marijuana illegal. It is time every single advocate for the legalization of marijuana makes themselves heard. We have to stop allowing those who can't find their ass with both hands, tell us what is best for us. God damn, wake up America! It won't happen until we make it happen. Let Washington know, if those who are there now will not respect our views, we will put people there that will.

Its just the natural nature of government. All governments are inherently evil and its up to the citizens to retain there own power. And sadly we have lost it. We are going to be watching the slowly declining civil rights here and there's not much we can do about it any more. Liberarians hold a glimmer of hope but the other 2 parties will fight feverishly to keep the libertarians from being a viable party.
And the libertarians are the only ones that have a reasonable plan about drug regulations in this country.

Good point, good thread.

Bud remains iligal, because of all the propaganda bullshit that people are put through since childhood.

It's amazing that at times like these, when the economy is in big time shit, the farmers in California do not have water to farm with, people are loosing jobs and their lives savings, big time corporations are going bankrupt, these idiots are wasting time, money and energy to fight medical marijuana?

These are our leaders?! These are the people who are supposed to protect us?! These are the people that are "supposed" to know what's best for us?!

Give me fucken break.

These muthafuckers can't shit right.:(

We all know they are dictators. Now we just have to mobilize and get all the boomer smokers out of the closet and into the streets like in the 60sw. Scare the fuck out of these corrupt officials. They have robbed us blind and now its time to turn the tables on everything they have stolen from us. The founders never envisioned nor intended for them to be full time legislators like they are today. Many need pink slips next election.
