Hello Cannabis Dot Com Community,

My name is Eric and we(wife) are transplants to North Carolina. I am a kidney donor since 12/07 and that's where my mind became a free thinker. Living in Ca. made things so much easier. We took the blazing sun for granted.

We moved for obvious reasons. We are already tired of the whole "buying on the street" dynamic. That puts us in a place we aren't willing to be psychologically. You know....the whole dealer/user relationship thing gets pretty old pretty fast. So we of course and doing a work-around. Our first grow looks promising. Please tell us what you think. We're aren't sure what to think of it. But, we are so excited....

welcome aboard  ... (post your growing pics and questions, in the Growing sections, for best results) ... looks like you may either be feeding your plants, or soil may be too 'hot' ? ... just a guess ... don't fertilize cannabis until it is a little older, I wait until 3-4 sets of branches have grown out, and then use half-dose nutrients ... varies by strains, but a lot of cannabis tends to be a light to medium feeder ... also, move your lamp closer, lessens the stretch, but watch the heat ... good luck :smokin:

yeah...I was very zealous in my efforts with the fert. but I think we've saved a couple of them. We are going to get lights today. We've been doing the sunlight for a week now. Tried a sucky incandescent light. Won't do that again. Thanks for the help. :smokin:

How did you garden grow? I hear ya with the buying on the street and being subdued with dealer woes and schedules and no call backs and so on. I started considering some growing of my own. Where about are you in NC? I am north of WinstonSalem. Also a NC transplant. I moved here back in '96.
