My 2nd rubbermaid setup

Hello all, so I had to take a 2 year break from having a setup due to living in an apt and I'm back in a house and ready to grow. I don't have pics of my setup yet, I'm waiting on the paint to dry to attach my light fixtures. ;) I won't be worrying about a carbon filter for smell because its in my laundry room in the basement and no one but me and my roommate go in there.

So here is what I have 2 30gal Rubbermaid tubs,
6 26W 1750 lumen GE cfl's,
2- 3 light strips, a 15" fan on top(pulling air out) and 2 pc fans on the sides ( one pulling air in across the light, the other pulling air out on the opposite side), 2 4" pvc elbow joints on the bottom for passive intake.
I've decided to paint the inside white instead of using foil (no reason just to try).

Right now I have 6 seeds germing, but I've kind of forgot some basics. So I'm asking for some help. Whats the max plants I can safely fit? Whats the best potting soil to start with? Do I need to mix Perlite with it if so what mixture? Any idea's or criticism will be great to help me hone in on a good grow.

I assume that you're going to use the 2 tubs like Bodom did as one unit, so I'd say 1-2 full grown flowered plants in there. 30 gallons are the smaller ones, I used 1 52 galloner and fit 3 comfortably in it, had 5 in there once, was just craziness, but worked out.

A 15inch fan eh? on a 30 gallon tub? Does it take up the entire top of it? haha:stoned: Painting the inside is a smart choice, flat white of course. I used foil tape, which seemed to work well also.

I use Fox farms, Ocean forest soil. Expensive, but I have never failed using it. I add perlite to it, probably 10-15% perlite, the rest Fox farms. I use this mixture from start to finish. Might be a little "hot" for seedlings, but once again, never failed using it.

A note about smell. Marijuana, while growing (and any other time really) smells, even in a laundry room in the basement. My ladies always perfumed my ENTIRE place. Hopefully smell isn't an issue for ya!:stoned:

Yeah its one tub on top of the other. I chose to go with the smaller ones because its just personal use so no need to have a bunch of ladies at once. I was way off its more of a 10" fan lol so no it doesn't take the whole top but does pull alot of air out. ( i did the lighter test at my passive ports and got a good pull.) Yeah its flat white. No smell isn't an issue at all and if it for some reason becomes one well thats what this site is for lol. Awesome I'll have to head to the store in the next couple of days and pick some of that up. I'm still doing some work on it so once its completely finished I'll get some pics posted. Thanks for the help.
