What's up guys.. I've been scheming for the past few months and planning a pretty sick backpacking trip across the other side of the world. I wanna start in Thailand, peep Nam for a bit, Cambodia, Laos, maybe jump over to Oz and New Z for a bit then I wanna see India.. north only for a bit because I'm scared of the big cities like Delhi and Mumbai (but I still wanna see them), and then I'm gunna head south to see Goa and whatever else is in southern India.

So far this is all I have planned. I'll be starting with about $10,000 in my pocket after working this summer. When I run out of money I figure I can find some sort of work wherever I am for cash under the table. Or I could book over to a civilized country and get a job as a bartender, sounds easier than it probably is but I'm a sweet talker. And so far I'm flying solo, so if anyone has nothing to do in November you're welcome to join me.

Has anyone here gone on trips recently? I've been to Europe before, twice to central countries like Germany, Austria, Hungary (I'm Hungarian, represent) and a few other countries, and I've been to England and Scotland as well a few years ago. Liverpool has an unbelievable night life and a fantastic ripper joint called Aphrodites.. god damn those girls were angels.. anyways..

Anyone have any advice, cool stories or some other secret places I should check out? I don't really have a return date set either.. I've been pretty sick of life here recently so I need a big change. I know I'll eventually settle down, go back to school and finish my phys ed degree but for now, I'd like to live free.. like Alexander Supertramp.

I was planning a thru-hike of the Appalachian trail. It takes between 5-7 months to complete. I've had a few obligations pop up though so I've had to put the trip on hold. I think I'm gonna plan some section hikes this summer so I can at least get another taste. This will be my third section hike. Not quite sure where I want to start though. First time I started at Klingmans dome, Second time I started at Fontana dam.

Hiking through the mountains would be pretty dope. I love the feeling of being in nature. I plan on doing as many jungle adventures as I can when I'm in Thailand.. a buddy of mine just got back and he had the most insane adventure. Him and two guys he met up with just started walking towards a village in a jungle, they met up with an elephant trainer and rode the elephants into the village, and proceeded to smoke opium with the tribe leader. How fucking cool is that?
