topped plant nothing happening????

so a deer ate about 4 inches off the top of my plant stopping unward growth it has been about four days and no sign of anything new sprouting. how long should this take? or will anything even grow back. also it ate some leaves but the branches are still there just no leaves attached to them should i trim off the branches or will the leaves grow back onto them?

Not saying it will come back, but give it a couple of weeks and then see if there is any difference. You will not see any new growth after only 4 days. With it being topped it will have to recover which may take up to a week before you start seeing growth again.

ok. what about the branches. a few of the branches coming off the stalk got their leaves eaten and now only the branches remain coming off the stalk with no leaves. will these branches grow the leaves back? the branches still look healthy there is just no leaves attached to them.

they may branch from the branches....Just give it time, you should see some change in the following week(s)
