Do most Indicas put you to sleep?

Here's my understanding thus far:

1. Indicas give more of a body stone, and sativas more of a head stone. Correct?

2. Sativas are more likely to cause increased heart rate? Something many patients would not want!

3. Do Indicas give a euphoria, or is that only with sativa?

4. Does all pot give one the munchies?

5. Is it possible to have a euphoria with body stone, but no muddled thinking?

6. Do all Indicas put you to sleep?

theres plenty of cool hybrids made medically and (yes im going to say it) recreationally, for a cool sativa that wont put you asleep , euphoric, flowers in 9 weeks or so, good yield, go with nepalese jam from ace seeds :thumbsup:


edit: meant to say a cool sativa, comma, wont put you asleep, also wont raise your heart rate or anything, not racy, not anxious, good for being in public as a medical user without freakin

I really like the indica body high. Its very useful for pain.
I find edibles provide a good pain relief as they tend to give you a body high.
When I'm going places and I don't want to be head high. :stoned:

I can see some indicas putting you to sleep.
But that can also be a good thing.
Some patients like it for putting them to sleep if they are in such pain they can't sleep.

There is an strain called hashberry that is more cerebral but at the end of the trip is very euphoric. Hashberry is an indica strain.

I choose indicas because I need it for sleep after a hard day :jointsmile:

the only time a indica puts me to sleep is after im plenty high,6 shots jim beem,7-9 beers and finaly wore out from the buzzzz,some food.finaly i can sleep.

But then you have hybrids and that changes everything! You can have a little of both worlds in the same bud!

If you are looking for something for pain or want to sleep better....go with a nice Indica...

Cannabis has a reverse effect on me because I medicate for ADD. High Grade Indicas perk me up and increase my awareness. It is a good daytime medicine as to where Sativa puts me to sleep.

Doesn't matter if it is an indica, sativa, or hybrid, ALL cannabis keeps me awake oddly enough. Not that I can't sleep if I really want to but none of the varieties make me sleepy. Personally, I think thats pretty cool.

Well I would like to meet the fibber who claimed AK 48 give anybody a Sativa type high. That stuff dont even put a person to sleep it just makes them feel so crappy and dizzy they have to go lay down to prevent vertigo puking. This be with all kinds of crazy and disjointed thoughts racing through your head. Got some Barney Farms Amnesia Lemon in the pipeline on which high hopes are riding. Read some evaluations on it and some claim it makes you feel happy and set you off laughing. Can't wait to see if it works out well. Thanks to whoever gave out the tips on the other strains to try.

What a coincidence - I have some AK48 and that shit is about as indica as indica could be.

It is a creeper that comes on slow and lasts for hours; strong buzz for sure but not the euphoric heady high that a good sativa will give you.

Now, I've also had the AK47 (Serious Seed) and that was definitely a heady sativa dominant strain that hinted of baby powder when you burned it.

However, the AK48 is a medical-grade, narcotic, sleeping time buzz. It's also a bit disorienting and nothing that I will smoke at work again. :smokin:

sometimes the hybrids are too much for me. the high hits you from all angles and its almost too much.

I don't mind a heavy-duty, lethargic buzz if I just plan to chill and eat Cheetos all night long.:eat:

However, I generally prefer a soaring, trippy head-high...

I use indicas for pain and to help fall asleep. If im having a bad day and need cheering up ill use a hybrid or a sativa.

I have yet to use a strain that didnt give me munchies.

Yes alot of people get very uncomfortable with strong sativas. The heart race and uncontroled thoughts freak alot of people out.

In my experience the sativas, or high % sativas, are much stronger than indicas.

Different Tokes for Different folks!! I prefer Sativa dominant in the morning and throughout the day and Indica Dominant for unwinding in the late afternoon/evening :thumbsup:

this might sound weird but indica doesn't help me body pain, it makes me feel heavy and thus more painful, sativa makes me feel light on my feet (up high) with ease of movement.
