FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Professional basketball player Darius Miles is free on bond after being accused in Illinois of possessing marijuana police say they found after a traffic stop.

Police in the St. Louis suburb of Fairview Heights say the 27-year-old Miles was alone in his 1996 Chevrolet Impala when they pulled him over Wednesday night and ticketed him for failing to use a turn signal.

During a subsequent search of the car, police say they found a misdemeanor amount of marijuana in a bag.

Miles closed out last season with the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, where he averaged 3.5 points over 35 games. Over his six-year NBA career, he's averaging 10 points a game.

A message was left by The Associated with a woman who answered a Belleville phone's home listed under Miles' name.

My question is how comes an active NBA star would drive a car that's eligible for Cash for Clunkers?
I guess with some weed, you'll feel like ballin no matter when and where.
