After the last outage, I decided to do something to help all the curious and paranoid members out there so I created a Twitter account for the website. It's Cannabisdotcom simple enough huh.

Let's see how this works but I'm not good at it so we'll see. I don't want to be tweeting all day so for right now I'm just going to use it when there are outages.

The same rules for this website will apply to all replies on Cannabisdotcom. In other words don't flame me or anyone else or use it for illlegal activities etc etc etc.

Please keep it clean. Maybe one day I'll be tweeting Arnold Schwarzenegger and giving him our support for the legalization of marijuana so let's not look bad.

God I hope this doesn't bite me in the ass.

BTW no one else gets to post their twitter account info, only the mods and admins.

See I told you I wasn't good at this.

The username is definitely cannabisdotcom but I made up some bogus name for anonymity and security. I just changed the name to cannabisdotcom but it will take a bit to update it said.

Cannabisdotcom (Cannabisdotcom) on Twitter (http://twitter.com/Cannabisdotcom) They also just did some maintainance so who knows, maybe I gave them the swine flu or something after I signed up.

I thought it would search by username and not name so either give it a second to update or the url above.

Actually, it does searches by user name or real name so I have no idea why it won't find cannabisdotcom with a search. I tried it too.

I think twitter is stupid. This is acceptable because it's in use for emergencies but in general it's a waste of the internet. Maybe it's just me, but I don't give a shit what Ashton Kutcher is doing from day to day. Fuck that guy.

ugh twitter. I'm just really tired of hearing about it. Either you love it because you can share what you're doing with all your friends and see what they're doing, or you hate it for the exact same reason. The people that love it post endless amounts of garbage about their lives. The people that hate it post endless amounts of stupid videos and crappy rants on why they hate it. Either way, people are using it to just try and get noticed. Why does everyone have to try and get noticed/be popular. Why can't we just "BE" ?

on a side note, i guess there are a few good reasons to use twitter, like emergencies. I'd never know though because i never use it.
