HI, Everyone :)
Thanks for reading my question. I'd like to ask questions about the usage of hydrogen peroxide on a bubbler cloner.
I've been trying to clone my trainwreck strain for awhile now (on and off for one and a half month) . At first, I used rockwool and rooting powder. All my clones just wilted and never developed any roots because I might've over watered the rockwool too much. Then I built a small bubbler cloner(the rez is a 2 gallon transparent container) after reading some DIY threads from the forum. I got lots of bubbles from 2 airtones and I used to put them one inch below the water level. The stems of my clones started to rot a bit ( I see really thin stem tissues almost silk like stem tissues falling out and floating in the water). :wtf:
Now the stems of my clones are 1/2 inch above the water level in the rez and I use Rootech rooting instead of rooting powder. One week later, My stems started to rot a bit. I decided to add 2 ml of Hydrogen peroxide at 35% I then saw the small rotting parts on the stems being eaten away. I wonder if I should keep doing it every three days for the purpose of keeping my stems from rotting ? Or am I just supposed to use HP for cleaning the rez of my bubbler cloner? BTW, is the strain "trainwreck" hard to clone?
Any advise would be appreciated~ Thanks ! :)
PS:
I keep my Water temps around 20 degree C ~ 25 deree C. I use a 18/6 light regiment.
I add a tiny bit of flowering nutes into my rez about 45PPM
I don't have superthrive and I used to add 3 ml of a small brand B1 plant nutrient in place of superthrive now I just add a tiny bit of flowering nutes about 45 PPM into my rez.
