I'd mix a GOOD bit of perlite and vermiculite to that topsoil as it is a heavy soil. You'll want to make sure you can get good drainage from them! Also your nutes should be fine. Just don't get too carried away with them. Only give what it may need!

well i mean you could but it may be too acidic for the plants giving you ph problems. I'm not saying you can't use the top soil if that is all you have. I'm just saying make sure to mix in a good bit of the verm, and perlite.

In adding stuff to the soil, remember that it will affect your nutrient regimin, and once you put it in, you can't take it back out. If you've made the soil too 'hot' with the sheep dung and topsoil, the plants won't grow. Depends a lot on how much youve added, though.

I dont do very much outdoor stuff, just trying to expand on what others have said. Drainage is super important. We prefer to top dress the soil with poo vs mixing it in. That way we can add it after the girls are a little bigger, and so we can use different poop throughout the grow cycle, and like someone else said dont add to much cause you cant take it out, but you can always add more.

Dont overwater, make sure you let your soil dry out between watterings. You want to water thoroughly, and then wait 2 or 3 days to water again depending on how well your soil drains, how much direct sunlight etc. Good luck!

i have not put them in there perminint home yet i just mixed the soil i used 1/2a bag of sheep poo one bag topsoil and about 10 shovels of peatmoss 1/2 verm 1/4 perlite. it filld the wheel barrow and i filld 3 pots with it would that be to hot for them?. this one lady told me to use only peatmoss and vermiculite and perlite and just feed your plant the organic food and she works for a hydrophonic store.it seemd she new what she was talking about but when i mentiond it here on the fourm i was told peat moss is to acidic when it breaks down. how long dose it take to breakdown.i wander if it would it work for a few months. iv found some pre made bag soils at wallfart and one said something about being a ph of 6.7 but cant remember the npk.if it even had it on it. if i use bag soil do i still feed them?
