to be the designated provider for a Medical Marijuana patient. He has not the time to grow himself, so I'm taking on the job, and had a few questions, that he and myself have been searching for.

I'll give you some info first. I have grown in the past, but more smaller ops, nothing as big as this. The limit for this state is 15, so were looking at ...

2X 1000w electronic ballasts MH and HPS
2 recirculating DWC systems
water cooled C02 system
Hoods, very good air circulation, growing a strong indica strain
and of course nuts ph equipment DH and so on.
This is in a very large room, again under 15.

Its my job to get the best and the most off these fifteen, with unlimited funds. I don't feel like I can upgrade much more from here, however that's why I'm coming to this form.

First: Is strain going to be much of a factor? Its been really hard researching all this, I keep coming across so much misinformation. Like, strain doesn't matter, strain does down to yields and so on. I have been looking at northern lights.

Second: I know plants can only produce so much, I used the formula .5g times wats used times length of veg (7w) = now this cant be right.

I wasn't planning on using sea of green, lots of space, and was contemplating not even topping or fimming or any rubbish like that. Am I missing anything? Thanks much.

Strain does matter when it comes to indoor grows, depending on the height of your room you don't want to go with anything with strong sativa. They say good hybrid is the way to go indoor. That way you get the best of both worlds, plus you may get a different pheno from each plant and end up with different highs:stoned: That's what I particularly like about hybrids. Not to mention you get plants that put on the weight(dense) of indicas, but got the length of sativas at the same time giving you big/dense buds(if strain is chosen right). Northern Lights is supposed to be a good beginner strain, so if that is what you decide then it shouldn't be TOO difficult.

Besides that, GL and keep us posted!:thumbsup:

The strain will matter. Someone like me with anxiety issues needs an indica plants. Someone with other issues may need another plant. You may want to look at the disease/strain faq that's on here somewhere. I did a lot of research before I chose a strain for myself. I need to be able to relax, to get sleep, etc. I'm hoping I can get a card to be legal and then grow medicine that will really help me. Even valium isn't working anymore.

Check out that faq and see what conditions your patient has.

Yeah def going to have to go with indica/sative hybrid. Cant have any 10 footers in the room lol. Yeah true he has smoked for years, he has Chrons disease so the strain doesn't matter that much, he just wants it to be good. And lots of it.

So in short, with money aside, is this the best I start with to run over fifteen?

I'm a noob grower but I am (was) growing 12 plants and the all fit under one 6 inch air cooled hood with a 600 watt hps. 2x1000 watts seems like alot. But.. if money isnt an issue..like i always say, if your gonna go bear, go grizzly.:rastasmoke:

Ed Rosenthal's Big book of buds could be a very good resource for both you and your client. Loads of information.
