FKN BS!!! Here sent me a bunch of non legible hand-written crap. When I called back he said he would be put on a list. I am waiting his reply after I told him "by law if have to give me my records!!"

That would piss me off too. You have absolutely every right to your own medical records with the only exception being phychology notes, which doesn't apply to you, just sayin'.

Definetly try to keep it civil and remind the office that he must give you your records, according to law.

There's already case precedent protecting physicians from any retaliation for recommending mmj, but just handing over your records will certainly not put him on any list.

The guy is just being obstructionist. Threat of a lawsuit usually solves such nonsense.

Good luck!:)

They are YOUR records.

And you might want to turn your doctor on to my list (link below in my sig). Sounds like that your doc might need some education on MMJ! :D

I had the same problem with my doctor. He may use a service that comes in and makes copies of the records. Thats what my doctor did. It took about 2 weeks for me to get them.

All we did was ask the receptionist to fax the last 2 notes from our last 2 visits to THCF. The Dr. didn't know a thing about it. You paid for those things the doc wrote on your record. Don't let anybody tell you different. Has nothing to do with the doctor and his ethics. They're your records............

I had a particularly greedy doctor a few years ago ... he wanted to charge me a couple bucks a page, to copy and send my records to the hospital, that needed them ... I told the hospital's bookkeeping office what he was doing  ... after a very short phone call, they had the records, free of charge :D ... maybe, you can just have them transferred ... ?? ... P.S.: CHANGE DOCTORS !

i asked my Doctor for a copy of my records (nothing to do with cannabis) and he informed me that it would cost me £50, thats to pay for the work that the secretary has to do to sort them all out and copy them.:wtf:
i must have a truck load of paperwork for £50.
