cannabis and stinging nettles

hi peeps back again with another question:
are stinging nettles in the same family as cannabis? reason i ask is because they look very similar and smell similar when burnt. if they are in the same family should i keep my cannabis females away from stinging nettles incase of pollination?

not 100% on their relation but i don't think you'll need to worry about cross pollination:jointsmile: infact, if these nettles grow big enough they'll provide excellent cover for your mj.:)

ok thanks, i'll risk putting them together :thumbsup: im growing indica's anyway so they shouldnt grow too tall, i'll just have to keep topping them if they start looking too obvious :) ive noticed that when a stinging nettle flowers they look almost identical as the flowers are grown in the same place so im gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

those would make awesome cover! I bet they would also help keep other critters away from your plants too, since they're all spiney.

i did take a walk out to the forrest looking for a little plot, i found a great place eccept one thing..... i HATE wood ants lol the whole floor was moving with billins of the fookers. the only good thing about them is that very few people will go looking where they nest nor will slugs, snails or other rodents that might eat me plants.
