I currently use a 600 watt hps and 400 hps for flowering. They run side by side on 4 foot tracks.
I currently have the younger plants under the 400 watt lamp and switch them to the 600 watt lamp for the last 4 weeks of flowering.
I am wondering if it might be better to switch the arrangement where I start the flowering on the 600 watter and finish up the last half on the 400 watter?

400 for 2 weeks, 600 for 3 weeks, and both til finish.=P but of course I know nothing of your ventilation issue.

And for my opinion to your question.

I'd say the more mature plant that already has flowers and plenty of resin on them will reward you more under the 600 until finish.

Consider just a smaller add on of a flower room for the 400? Maybe a clone SOG table?

Veg enough large plants to overfill your current bloom room, and cut them back enough to fill your 400 SOG table.

Or just do the 400+600 super scrog in your current room.=P

Either way, I've had many many :rastabong: rips and I'm just not finding a closure for this response. :stoned:

Besafe I think that all them are legitimate answers. But I personally think a super scrog or fill the room with the 600 up and run a scrog on the 400, Could actually be pretty interesting an compare your results at end. But if your ventilation allows it you could just run both in the same room just make sure you got a good 5000 lumens per a sq. foot. Your main thing is gonna be ventilation. How big room are you using? How many plants? Alot of thing will make a difference as the light mover has the light on the other side for half the time. You might get better results with putting the 400+600 together with out light mover and get better result. I guess you gotta do some runs and you really can get it dialed in. But good luck bro hope you get it sorted out
