How big/old does a plant need to be before I can take cuttings? I've got some Purps and BlueCityDiesel (BlueberryxNYCDiesel) at about 6 weeks now. Only about 5" tall, but healthy. They are to be put outdoors but I'd like to get a few extras if I can.

I also plan to keep one mother plant of each for my 1st indoor attempt! Any suggestions on housing 2 mother plants in a Mini Cool Cab growbox? (SunlightShedsSux!.. Don't get me started). Gonna use soil What size container? I will probably use ScroG method with them as my vertical space is limited.. Tried this for the first time last year outdoors and it worked great!

It depends on how many internodes there are. You want your cuttings to be a small percentage of the plant.

Yep, I'm thinking once there's 3 internodes I'll top em'. thx

I would imo wait till you have four to five nodes before clipping snipping topping or lst.. just dont want to stress your plant and slow its growth.

Give them another 2 weeks and you'll be glad. They're about to take off.

Sweet. Yeah, i figured it's better to wait. I'll also take more once they're big and in their final home as well. Topped one in late June last year, rooted it outside, directly in potting mix, then it got topped by a deer and blew the F up. Huge! I'm bursting at the seams here, these 40degree nights are killin me. Get hot already!

Any one have any experience with Purps or BlueCityDiesel? Flowering time? I'm doing them indoor and out. Fully organic of course. Bat guano/compost tea outdoor and Botanicare in the hydro setup.
