this is my first indoor grow i have a flood and drain system with a 400watt mh light i have a tri meter set to the correct ec ph and temp as instructed by dnf but my babys dont seem to be growing upwards. I have a feeling that i didnt allow them to root long enough befor moving them to their 4" rockwell cubes
the ec is set to 2000
the ph level is 6.1
the temp is 68
the light is about 1.5 ft above the tops
still no growth upwards any help would be great.

I don't use ec, I use PPM, seems to me you should be at 1.1 or 1.2 ec or 800 to 900 ppm when first starting out. Also a 400W light can be a lot closer than 18", you can probably get away with 6 or 8 inches above the tops.

Pictures would do alot more and I can ask all day. Please we need more info. At least tell us all about it. Nuttrients , suppliments. what the water source is. Most all details can lead to a fix. Are they still in veg. 400 can be hard on young plants or clones.

yep, drop the ppm to 800-900, also lower the Ph to 5.8
Ca can't do its job at higher ph levels, drop it to 5.4 for a few days after diluting back to 800 ppm.
I know :beatdeadhorse: but read
