I'm awating my approval, and trying to gather as much information as possible. Yes, I'm a newby again even though I'm in my 50's. One of the many fun things to consider is can I extend the benefits I hope to reap from this experience to others.
1. If I become a care provider, can I give free meds. to my patients? I read where someone gives free meds. to terminally ill patients. That really fascinates/impresses me.
2. Can a person actually make a living by being a care provider for several patients? I've been an educator for 28 years, and I'm not the teacher I was 5 years ago. Physical labor is out for a guy with an artificial hip, broken back and neck related arthritis.
3. When do you reach a point where you must pay taxes on the money that you gather for your medicine? Do we only pay state income taxes?
4. How many ounces may a patient purchase each month? Do most patients pretty much buy all they can?
5. Can a patient purchase from more than one care provider and even from dispensaries during the same time period? Even though I plan on growing, I'd like to try different products for knowledge and enjoyment to see if my patients could benefit in any way.
6. Will the police raid my home and put me in jail, knowing that I can get out, but just to hassle me and make life difficult even though I'm obeying the law to the letter.
7. Can I team up with other careproviders so that each of us can grow a few different plants for different medical conditions and then share with each other to provide the best service for our patients? I guess that would be called a co-op, but I'm new to the business world.
Ok, I know I have a lot of questions, but I really want to find a harmony between finding my most effective way of staying healthy physically and emotionally and providing the best service possible for others that need the help that this wonderful medicine/recreational drug has to offer.
Muchos Gracias, Smittyfan
