Hey guys,

Basically i have a few basic questions that i would really appreciate some info
I know i have been asking allot of questions and it really REALLY is appreciated!

I am using a ring drip system through hydroton into a lower level reservior.

I have read that some people when changing their water have a small cycle of regular water (PH'd of course) but minus the nutrients.. Is this a common practice or just what some peep's like to do?

If i was having some ph issues and decided to flush how long should i leave unfertilised water running through the system to flush?

Last and finally lol
I ph'd the system and the set it to run and within the hour the ph had already raised PH.7. Would this just be from residue from the hydroton and also the containers they are draining into?

Thanks Guys

Did you rinse the hydroton with ph'd water before you used it? The point of the flush is to get left over nutrients out of the plant, it makes for a better tasting and smelling end product. It also will take you less time to properly cure. You pretty much have the idea of it, the last 7-10 days you usually just run ph'd water through your system. There are other things you can still use during flush but we'll leave that for another time.

I monitor the ppm of the rinse water when flushing between nuit changes, when it stops rising I figure its ready to drain and refill with nuits
