hey guys ive just started growing in the last few months and ive encountered my first lot of troubles with the plants. they are on 18 hours of light per day with fair ventelation im mostly concerned that im not watering them enough. in the last 48 hours the leaves have all become significantly more droopy and some have begun to develop brown dots.
any input would be greatly welcomed

Don't tell me that is cheap bunnings / supermarket soil? Ideally you should have blended that with plenty of perlite. That barky wood chip stuff seems to hold a lot of water.
How often are you watering? What ferts are you feeding them with? I'd recommend flushing with plenty of plain water then use charlie carp at about 1/2-3/4 strength. After that let the soil dry out almost to the point the plants start to droop. Water/feed them when they dictate not based on a gut feeling. I'd probably water & feed with 1/2 strength once a week given the size of plants vs pots. Keep an eye out for fungus gnats if that soil has been kept too wet too often.

I can't tell from photo, but I've seen many, many plants that stay too wet. Probably number one problem with growers. The only way to gauge is to go by weight. From the size of your container and plant I'd guess if you were underwatering they would feel almost empty. Be sure to let them dry out between waterings. They should feel like they lost 50 to 70% of their weight. Good luck.

So do you think that its more the plant is over watered due to the soil its in? (capturing too much water?)
whats the recommended level of watering do you suggest? (daily dosage etc)

hey bro, check your ph, that's what it looks like to me.
and when you re-pot (soon i hope) make sure you follow CFLhydro's advice
and add perlite, about 40% should be perlite.
then, click on 'FORUM HOME' at the top of the page and that will take you to
the main page where you will find links to all forums.
click on each of the forums and read all the sticky's, they got to be sticky's
'cause they contain important info.
when you finish the sticky's, just start readin'. and i'm not sayin' 'don't ask
questions' either, i'm just saying that most of the info you need is already
here if you will only look for it.
believe me bro, if you follow my advice, in a few months you'll be giving
answers and not asking questions (actually, you'll still be asking questions,
they'll just be much better, harder questions).
in any event, stick with it man, i know i learned way more from my mistakes
than i did from my successes.
