Fill out the plant problem form. What we need is way more info and a pic of plants would help too. Hard to go off what you gave us. If you just tell us what you put in it would help. Looks like molasses.

My res temp is 68 I'm using sensi A & B. have this same problem with my other rez in the next room. It started their from the beginning. And now is starting in the next room from the beginning. I think it came from some bad clones I got. They had root mites. I killed all the mites with merit 2f. The new Bach was just fine. That's why I think it is some kind of fungus that spread from the other room. I add my a&b then ph because after adding A&B it is just about 5.8 no adjustment need. I'm using RO water.

That's bad for 2 days. Never seen a fungus take over that fast at 68 degrees. The lower temps should slow it down. looks like you need to clean the system with H2O2 real good. If it's your clones what do the roots look like ?

I'm lookimg at the merit 2f. and since you have the rez I would say an ebb and flow table ? What would make you think you had root mites ? never heard it brought up in hydro. Looking at it , it is for turf grubs and very poison. Not some thing I would put in there. Did this start befor you put the merit in ?

How do you know it's root mite to start with ? Please some pic's of plants and roots.

You need to thoroughly clean everything with h2o2 and then fill your res with just ph water and see what happens in 2 days. How old are your nutes? Are they stored in a dark cool place?

Are you using air stone's?

With flood and drain,I find it's best not to run too much air thru your res.You will get air in your water from "collision", shorten your drain hose enough that it's above your res water level, that should be enough air.I used to run air stone's in my res,but I stopped becouse it make's the PH and PPM go crazy,And also causes the algae to grow way faster. With flood and drain, you cycle the water atleast twice a day...so it doesn't get stale like other method's will.

Ok I think I have an idea what might be happing. I have a hole house big charcoal filter that is about two years old the manufacture said it lasts about two years. Iā??m on well water, no chlorine, this problem has been is to different rooms with 2 set of different colons. 2 different sets of medium, 2 different nets, I used, h202, Hygrozyme, it only slows it down, when I ad carbload it speeds it up. So the only thing the same is the water. So it must be some sort of bacteria that has built up on my filter system, or some bacteria that is coming from the water, thatā??s why carbload speed it up, must be bacteria. so I removed the filter from the line, bleached all my line in the home and Iā??m bleaching all the stuff including a light bleach thought the RO with a heavy rinse, I will h202 the plants and trays, and will start with fresh nuts with h202, hope this solves my problem ill lets u know, thanks for all the help.

Sounds like you don't care enough to fill out the troubleshooting form.

You come on here with a problem, ignore what everyone says, and then try to come up with your own conclusions, WTF?

So your blaming on your water filter? Looks like you haven't cleaned your res in forever. I can let my BC go for almost two weeks w/o that kind of crud build up, i don't though. Clean your res with anti-bacterial at least once a week if not more.

IDK why I am so hateful, btw.

Sorry bro, could not find that form, Guest I'm to much of a tomato eater, no need to hate on a brother, have tried all kinds of stuff including every think listed, was just looking for some one who might have hade the same problem, just thought I would keep all informed of some of my own ideas, I cleaned all the time and all conduction are right, donā??t need any help their, Could you tell me what you use for your anti-bacterial.

Ok I removed the charcoal filter out. And cleaned everything really good. I'm trying to fill the res again. This is some info on my water report (reporting units are ug/L Arsenic 7.9, nitrate + Nitrite as Nitrogen 3700, Boron 180, Vanadium 8.2, all other chemical listed says ND). And I do have issues with the plants dying off if I leave the res full more then 4 days, event after a good clean, I hope that it was my charcoal filter that was the breeding grounds.

What does your filter have to do with your res? You lost me on this one!

he/she believes that the house water filter is what caused the nasty looking res and now has removed filter and cleaned lines and such hoping problem is now gone.
