when to flower

i just took a few cuttings to see if the plants are female. when should I put the cuttings under 12/12 can i do that right away or do i have to wait for them to root.

they'll need to root a little... i'd try putting them under 18/6 lighting for a few days (dark hours encourage root growth) - remember the lights also don;t need to be nearly as close for clones to root than you would have them for veg stage... once you see the clones are growing slightly, i'd go 12/12 then

Like syde00 said you'll need to root them a bit and keep the cuttings really moist with a mist. There are strains that can go straight from cuttings into flowering...I think some lowryders can do that if i'm not mistaken
