Hey guys,

Quick question. I had smoked for 7 days straight 19 days ago, and had not smoked for a good 3 months before that. I had an interview for a job this past monday and they had sent me to a drug test that same day. I drank 23.5 OZ of water right before, and had to piss like a race horse. After I had left the drug test I had gone to a smoke shop to get an at home test, in which i had passed with a pink line, but not as dark as the control line. Any reason as to why I should be worried about passing the actual test? (BTW this test was taken in the afternoon and I had peed a good 2-3 times before the test if that matters)

Thanks in advance.

What's your metabolism? If its fast, then you probably have a good chance of passing with 19 days abstinence and the little bit of dilution. The line doesn't have to be as dark as the control line, as long as its a line. They say if you can photocopy it, its a pass.

So are at home drug tests as accurate as the lab tests? I had taken the at home test one hour after the lab test. Could I possibly pass the at home one and fail the lab test when the time between both tests were so close together?

Home tests are just as accurate as the assay screens used by the labs.

If youre testing negative on the home test with your first pee of the day, you'll pass the lab screen any time.
