I'm growing out the hashberry right now and I'm gonna let it go after this runs finished up.I do have to admit its the absolute rockhardest buds I've ever grown in 35 years.but it doesen't have the kick I figured it would have.I would say its a good candidate for a hybrid cross with something with more kick where your looking for thicker buds.I'd still like to give there satori and speed queen so I'm not kickin' mandala to the curb for good.also the male to female ratio was wacky;like 7 males and 1 female from a pack,so maybe my vision was skewed by such a small choice of female stock.IMHO they are worth the price which is comparitively low

my buddy grew out Mandala's Hashberry, Satori, and Kalichakra, outdoors, last season ... monstrous plants, as healthy, and vibrant as any I've ever seen  ... but, I wasn't there for harvest, didn't get to sample any of them ... my buddy said he's saving me some of the Satori, he was most impressed with it's aroma, said it was fabulous smelling ... I, too, would be very interested in using it for cross-breeding ... not much to go on, I know, but thought I'd toss that in :smokin:

I have just gotten through with my second grow of several Mandala strains. The strains are Kalichakra, White Satin, Mandala #1, and Satori.
Kalichakra from clones that are put into flower after they reach a least 20 inches tall grow 48 inches plus under a 600watt Hps. The cola and side buds have large hard calyx. Yield is pretty good at least 2to3 oz per plant. Taste is hashy with a sweet honeysuckle after taste. High is up, good daytime smoke.
White Satin for clones put into flower when they reach at least 20 inches will almost reach the 50 inch mark if not topped. They seem to take to topping very well, producing large multiple colas. Good producer at least a couple of oz. per plant. The smell of the cured bud is like ranch dressing. The taste is sweet and hashy. The high is straight forward, though it is not one of my favoites.
Mandala #1 I do not have the purple one, I have the Satvia leaning pheno. The last grow from clones were allowed to reach 25 inches before going into flower. This produced plants that were an average of 44 inches tall at chop. The main colas are of an average length of 17 inches and spear shaped only fat at the base and they are heavy so staking is a must. Yield is very good maybe 3 oz or more per plant. The colas tend to turn a mix of orange and brown when cured. Care should be taken to assure the bud is dryed well before putting into jars to cure. The cured bud has an oily smell and has a strange taste when smoked. This bud will put you on your ass quickly.
Satori is listed as a sativa but I do not have that pheno, mine is the indica leaning pheno. The clones take several months to reach 20 inches before putting them into flower. Believe me the wait is worth it. The plants grow to a final height of around 32 inches. The size of the plant will fool you into thinking it doesn't produce much bud but if fact they are the best producer. The first time I grew this strain I got 121grams dried off of 2 plants that were only 25 inches tall. Dont expect a lot of side branching with this one. The main cola is quite large with the best, most uniform sized nugs you'll see about anywhere. The smell of the dried bud is sweet like ripe fruit. The high is pure indica. If allowed to go 70 days with 15-20 percent amber trichomes this will put you out> The rated THC level is close to 25 percent. If you have Restless Leg Syndrome this will take care of that no problem.
Over all I think the Mandala strains are worth the effort to grow. I have the Hashberry seeds but I haven't popped any as of yet. In my opinion I like the Kalichakra in the daytime and the Satori at night.
