One of them sprouted and it actually looks very healthy. Only thing is I planted in a spot where people actually pass by. I was smoking there one day and just planted a seed for the hell of it. Now I want to see if I can transplant it out of the ground to a better spot. This will mean Ill have to dig deep under the roots and pull it out with everything still in tact. You think it'll survive such a stressful transplant?

Yes. Just be careful, and water after you transplant. If it's still small, it should be simple. Marijuana plants can survive a tornado. lol!!!

well I transplanted it and it seems to be growing just fine.. and starting to grow another set of leaves and its getting some nice vertical growth. I don't know if I'm not being patient enough or if the growth could be faster. They get as much direct sunlight as they can w/o being out in the open. Also the stem is a real deep purple which I was told indicates the plant is hungry. I might need some nutrients pretty soon.

the plants are stretching alot and the cotyledons are turning yellow.. what's that about?

It's normal for the cotyledons to turn yellow. Their main purpose is just to store some starch, protein, and fat for the seedling. They are only used in a very minor role for photosynthesis. Probably just to help orient the plant to face upwards.

right when I spray the organic spray w/ worm castings in it on the plant some animal fucking nibbles the whole top of my plant off... took away all the leaves off of it. The stem is still there and is about 4 inches long.. I hope it can recover. I think it was a deer.... I guess the spray attracted some deers. They better leave my shit alone unless they want me to retaliate.. LOL.. make them road kill. Anyhow hopefully it can recover.. if not.. I'm just about to go hard and germ the 50 or so seeds I have left!

LMAO, just look at it in a positive light. If they do recover most likely they will branch so it would be like topping the plant, except that it was done by a furry critters teeth rather than your sharp scissors. Maybe they did you a favor!:pimp:

YES! That's how I've been looking at it. Hope they recover and just have two tops.

I know the thread is over a month old, but if you are still having problems with wildlife, there are some things you can do to deter them. If you have a boyfriend who shaves, you can sprinkle the hair around your plants. You can also spread human urine around too. Basically, the animals are afraid of humans, and the hair/urine scent will help scare them off.
