Hay all. I veg under floros and flower under a 600W HPS. The flower room is well ventilated, temps don't get higher than 80-85 max, and they don't go in until their 4th or 5th multi-leaf set (about 3 or 4 weeks). What's happening is there is some yellowing/white going on with the older fan leaves when I put them under the 600W. The light is far enough away from the tops (3 feet) that you can't really feel any heat. Can this still be bleaching or sunburn even with the low temps and distance to light? The newer leaves seem to be fine. Is there any way to prevent this? Should I even worry about it? I'm also at 1/4 strength on the nutes and transplant to larger pots when they go in. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I had a plant get light-bleached, (too close to a 400HPS) ... parts of the top leaves were almost white, only the veins had color ... first time I had witnessed that :wtf: ... it was the only plant that did it, and I can't say why ... dunno, but plant survived until harvest, with white, curled leaves ... looked terrible, smoked fine :smokin:
