I have some plants that I just switched to 12/12 4-5 days ago. I live in a hot area, so I have root rot problems. I changed the water yesterday - 4 gallons of water and I added 2 cups of 3% H202 in addition to the nutes. One plant looked particularly droopy after 45 mins, so I emptied out a 1.5 gallons of the nutes+H202 water and replaced it with ph balanced water without anything else. The droopy plant came back to life and I went to sleep sometime later.

This morning, I checked on the plants, and they look a little droopy. They are in the dark phase now - I keep the lights on at night and off during the day because it gets hot where I live during the day.

Basically, is it okay for plants to get a little droopy during the dark cycle? I've grown before, and I don't remember it happening that much - the stems are upright - it's just that all the leaves are a little droopy on all the plants.

It's been dark for them for 4 hours now.

My leaves on one strain I have do the same thing. What are your res temps?

I don't know the exact temp, but probably gets up to 85-90 degrees (yikes). Nothing I can do about it though. Also, my plants perked back up once the light turned on - they were just a little bit droopy in the dark phase.

wow 85-90? sounds like you are almost boiling instead of growing

TWO CUPS of H2O2? If nothing else, that is wrong for sure. Maybe 2 teaspoons would have been appropriate.

Use the h2o2 for clean up between grows.

put in an air bubbler instead

drop in some ice cubes,it will dilute your nutes but thats better than boiling your roots. ideal is 65-68 degrees

use some hygrozime to clean up the dead roots

use a filter on the return line(s) to catch the decayed roots

Droopy in the dark phase is normal for some strains. H2o2, hygrozyme, subculture, sm-90, all that shit won't work. Switch to soiless, you won't believe how well you'll do over hydro in your condition.
