I have some Sour Diesel that's been vegging for about 10 days now. I've grown the strain in the past, she isn't a thirsty bitch that's for certain.

Anyhow, I gave them 500PPM about 4 days ago and they appear a bit burnt. Some curling, yellowing etc - the odd part is usually in my experience they turn dark dark green along with showing signs of burn when you over do it.

These aren't dark dark green, and I do have some mite damage but I think it's pretty clear they are burnt as well. Anyhow, I have them on the floor, and I usually water to a tiny bit of a run off, not a ton. This method has worked perfectly in the past getting great results.

The problem is it's hard to flush. I will need to take them into the garage and give them water, catch the run off and then dispose of the run off. Anyhow, they are in three gallon buckets and I'm curious how much water you think I should use?

I know sometimes people use 3X the volume inside the bucket with soil, that would be 9 gallons for me. I'm using SunShine though which tends to be more forgiving than the soil and I think I can get away with less than three gallons.

Also, it seems like a logistical nightmare to treat the 150+ gallons I'm going to use to flush them with so I was thinking of just using ph'ed water. My ph'ed water comes out at 6.4, I know you want 5.7-6.2 PH with soil less mixes, do you guys think it'll be a problem if I use 6.4? It's jsut going to be 10X the work to treat the water if I have to.

I figure I can go low on the 5.7-6.2 PH once I go back to feeding them to get the PH correct. What do you guys think? I was thinking of giving them about 3 gallons of water per plant, which should give me 1+ gallons per plant of run off.

It should be known that I've flushed in the past with about 6-7 gallons, and my plants stayed wet for so damn long that I couldn't feed them for nearly 10 days. The sunshine just doesn't get dry quickly. Anyhow so my main questions are about the volume of water I need to use and also if it's okay to use 6.4 water?

I've only watered them 3 times since they were put into the room, so I figure I can maybe get away with only giving them 2-3 gallons of water per plant. What do you guys think about that?

Thanks

You can use less water to flush if you want...But you certainly need that ph down around 5.8,If your PH isnt right ...nothing will be right.

I aim for 5.7 - 6.2 PH. So you think the Ph being 6.4 for my r\o water will be too high to flush with? It's just hard to treat that amount of water with the tools available to me.

I grew the same strain and didn't even use PH up or down the entire time, I would imagine my PH was pretty damn high the entire time and I got 1LB per light which was great.

Can anyone else chime in? Would make it a shit ton easier to not treat the water, but if I have to I can try to figure out a way.

Also I figured maybe if I do treat the water, I could add Clearex and use less volume or water making the job easier. The Clearex should break the salts down easier than regular r\o water.

The water will come out a bit higher than the range is...comes out at 6.4 while hydro range is 5.7-6.4

I agree I need to get these bitches flushed asap, they will be done tomorrow. I just don't know if I need to treat the water, and put some PH down in it before flushing or I can just run the 6.4 through. I'd be able to give a higher volume of water through if I don't treat the water. But I'm a bit concerned about the PH of my soil being too high after I flush if I use the 6.4

anyone else care to comment?

i'm leaning towards just giving them the 6.4 water since i can give them a higher volume of water than i will if i treat the water
