Hey all, not super into the selections so far. Not quite my cup of tea but I would like to start some dialogue. I'm very interested in talking music with folks on here, but maybe my taste differs from the norm on cannabis.com, but here's some stuff I've been jamming lately, try Googling some of these bands if you're not exposed yet...

PUNK/HARDCORE/GARAGE:
Infest - No Man's Slave - kings of extreme hardcore
Chaos UK - Burning Britain EP - classic UK punk
Mind Eraser - new 12" and 7" - brutal raging fast hardcore.
Tyvek - just saw them live on Friday, really good.
Mayyors - Live @ SXSW + both 7"s
Cheater Slicks!!!! - best band in America right now!
Reigning Sound - 2nd best band in America right now!
stuff on IN THE RED RECORDS

METAL:
SLEEP - DOPESMOKER (why aren't there 100 threads about this amazing album?)
Funeral
Electric Wizard
EyeHateGod

Floor

GO-GO (DC only... haha...)
BACKYARD BAND

ALL-TIME FAVORITES:
RAMONES, STOOGES, BLACK FLAG, VELVET UNDERGROUND

I don't see too much heavy stuff on here at all, which is surprising since everyone here gets stoned. No threads about Sabbath?! I think everyone needs to take a step and try to branch off from ICP, Sublime, or any of this other manufactured junk that keeps people in hemp necklaces and baggy pants. Just my opinion, but please feel free to comment. Hope to hear from some people who like to dig at the record store!

Take it easy! Just searching out fellow record geeks... post if you're into punk, hardcore, garage, metal, doom, great hip-hop, reggae/dub, the Dead, and just plain old killer rock n' roll!
