My house has been broken in twice.the first time they took all the plants that werent even ready to harvest (they were about 1 month early), the second time they didnt take anything because the plants were still small.
i think they're all the same guys and they've been watching us.
and i dont live in the house so i can't watch it 24/7
i dont know what to do now

And to make thing's worse..they now have enough info. to estimate your harvest time...LOL.
It's a shit deal man.maybe set up a camera,alarm,get a dog?? And certainly reinforce the entry point's.
It's someone you know, someone kinda shady, maybe someone you pissed off.

If you want to continue to grow, as I see it, you have two options: move in and keep a shotgun by the bed, or move the grow. Cameras will only prove that it was a person and not a black hole... burglars usually wear something to hide faces... hate to hear it mate.

move the grow ! ... facing possible murder charges, is a pretty stupid alternative :wtf:

If someone enters my home without my permission (e.g. breaking in, not trespassing) I can defend my family and home by any means necessary in my state.
There are a FEW logically-minded legislatures still around....
*I do not condone violence. I merely support it when the need arises.

My Sig will work for what you tryin to say NoDrugs...... Good ol Malcom X:jointsmile:
And by the way if they are breaking in keep in mind that they already doing something illegal like you may be, Also try to think like them so they might be carring heat 2.. Think like a crook befor you try to take one on. Because 8 out of 10 times they dont have much to lose and dont wanna go to the big house so you might be in danger 2 as they are thinking bout freedom now. :gunfighter2: :S1: :buzz_saw: :icon506: :rambohead: :angelsmiley: :rambo: :admin2::wtf4::chainsaw::S4::postgood:

If you're not legal, them breaking in again might end up with a neighbor calling the police and them discovering your grow after the break in (if there is anything left)... Or you could face possibly murder charges and fight for your plants like TIR said... Or you could move and figure out who the rat is, chances are a random kid didn't kick down your door.. (Although it happens)

i'd thought of all the solutions you guys have suggested but nothing sounds like it could work out.
Look man. You obviously don't WANT to do it, but you HAVE to either move your grow op or just shut it down completely. There are no other options. Regardless if they break in again or not, there are people that know what you are doing and where you are doing it. When they are done ripping you off they can phone in an anonymous tip. Assuming this is in the US, the cops can then seize the house. Perhaps this was someone you know, or maybe some robbers got lucky, but that is not relevant at this point. You can be ratted out anonymously, at any time. The cops could do a 'sneak-and-peek' before they get a warrant to make sure it's an op. And they can pull your utility bills. CUT YOUR LOSSES. Shut your shit down and live to fight another day. Good luck and I really hope you make this choice, as it's really the ONLY thing you can do.

Unless of course, it was in defense of an illegal cannabis grow. The laws differ as circumstances change. Your charges would reflect the illegal activity you are now busted for, and the homicide it resulted in. (and likely a drug/weapons kicker)
What do ya want to bet that he knows the perps, and thought for sure his 'friends' were trustworthy...?

agreed  ... I should have mentioned the stiff Federal charges for having a firearm in the immediate vicinity of drug activity ... legal gun, 'legal' pot, but not at the same time, same place ... :smokin:
