saliva test

I have a saliva test for work tomorrow and i havent smoked in about 5 days and i dont know what to do. what can i do to pass the test or should i be worried.

Saliva tests can go back about 24-36 hours, sometimes 96. Good dental hygeine including brushing your gums, tongue, and cheek before the test and careful manipulation of the stick to minimize contact time are about the only things you can do besides time.

what exactly are you basing that on? ^

I've read 8(or 12)-24 many places and some stating 36.

personal experience several years prior(lab) seemed to be often 6 through 24.
