I have a small army of jack herers and they are about 1.5 weeks old and have already starting rooting out of the bottom of the half gallon startin pots, they are clones, they are in half gallon squares in airy quality soil. I normally run different strains, but repot to 2 gallon round pots after a month old, 2 weeks of it 12/12, ya follow? But these ladies are rooting exceptionally well, far better than my rhino (wow this rhinos nice) that finishes in about 55-60, my question is are my 3 gallon square pots gonna hold these? They go 55-70 but I don't know this particular groups, they are odd, I think I need to post pics, I will try. Be nice I'm really in the zone.. Rhino aged a month, nice, stuffs potent. Any jack tips for me out there?

I grew Jacks a year or so back. Big difference going from 3s to 5s. Thicker trunks stronger branches. I've got some Ed Rosenthals going now. They're like Jacks on roids.
Quick rooting clones you have. What nutes?

What kind of high does this strain give???

I still prefer the more intense J.H. But much larger buds on Ed R., not as many crystals, and the seeds took forever to sprout. 6-10 days in paper towels. I had WW an inch or two high before Ed R's were even ready to sow. Also I only had 40% germination with ten seeds[@$200!!!] Ended up with only two girls. That's ok, clones abound. So why do I grow them? 6-10zs per plant [indoor], very easy cleaning, awsome looking buds, other than that, I don't know.
Now about your nutes???

they get a few drops per gallon of superthrive that i soak the plugs in, then just water until they are in the soil for 2 or 3 waterings, then they start getting pureblend pro organic soil grow 5ml/per gallon and 5ml/per gallon of liquid karma also from botanicare, but honestly i usually go real easy on nutes for the first week (after the initial water only days) then maybe one week of 5ml karma/10ml grow then they are on to the blooming phase. My soil has additional food from the addition of fishy petes potting soil, its a local soil- stuffs crazy good but real heavy in the nitrogen so you can go real easy. its really great stuff but sporadic for gettng it, i stock up a few sacks in the spring.

these plants have now been blooming for 4 days in 3 gallon squares, so about 3 weeks old and looking at the sides this morning and I'm already seeing alot of really nice looking roots, these babies root and grow like crazy- just wonderful to see such explosive lateral and vegetative growth- they are under a shitload of wind and light and doing unbelievable in a sea of green set up, so much growth i wonder if i can add the rest of the plants that are supposed to be going in on the other side, or if i should just spread these out. they have grown as much laterally as vertically so far with the typical haze fans and structure throughout, beautiful plants and they handle a sadistic amount of wind, seriously- they are getting rocked, i doubt my other strains would handle what these girls have seen so far, i was afraid of excessive stretch through the initial bloom phase so have really cranked it up and kept the lights low.

My big worry is that the 3 gallon pots could be too small, but that doesnt jive with my experience with plants this size (initially) with the veg time I have givin them.

So far this strain is looking great- i got it as a clone someones been growing for a very long time, no idea what it will turn into by 70+ days.. but my hopes are high as i like to be..

i ramble, im stoned, peace

almost forgot- yeah its apparent that the flowering has begun, yipee!

sounds like itd be fun to hit them with extra rooting harmone alone with a transplant into 7+gallon container for 7foot monsters.
