Will they allow that? We don't live together.

She has gerd. Marijuana helps her, but she would like to use it without having the fear of going to jail. She lives with her mom and would not be able to grow it at her place. I have the funds and the space to help her out. I quit smoking herb 3 years ago.

She does not have her medical card yet. We would like to know before we go the the office. I guess I could just call them on monday.

They recently tightened the qualifications in California, so that you must do more than just supply cannabis- you must also demonstrate that you take care of her in other ways- take her shopping, to the doctor's office, help prepare food, etc. Since you love her, I doubt if it will be a problem. :)
GET THE CARD ASAP! HAVE THE DOC WRITE HER PLANT AND OUNCES NUMBERS ON IT! The laws are changing, but so far the doc's recommendation on plants and ounces tops the state/county laws (which can change). Doctor's numbers don't do a thing if the feds come after you, but as long as it is "reasonable" numbers, it's usually not a federal hassle.
