I ate a pineapple pepperoni pizza slice the other night, and woke up with some bad gas pains... Augh, it's the worst! Nothing can really help, save curling up in a fetal position... :(

ahhh Puuurp, that suucks. only time i ever had pineapple (and ham, blegh) pizza i was drunk out of my mind.
but i feel you bigtime, last night after blazing with a friend and making some music, i went to the pizza place for some slices, but could only sit for a minute cuz they closed @ 12. so i walked my ass over to the next pizza place and had 1 more slice (3 in total lol) i'm not in pain, but i sure wish i hadn't overdone it
plus i ended up getting really paranoid that these 2 guys were planning to rob me - like REAL paranoid. i ended up watching out the window for a cab and then took it 2 blocks lol. whatever, the cabbie got a good tip from it.
except i kept lookin out the back of the cab just makin sure i wasn't bein followed lol cabbie prolly thought i was on drugs or something
which... i was :hippy:
feel better, Purp! maybe a nice bowl would calm your stomach!

Last time I had pineapple on a pizza was in 2002... for the same exact reason. Was it Papa John's by any chance?

Fortunately for New Yorkers, and tourists, we generally don't have pineapple pizza here, lol. A few pizza places had "Hawaiian Pizza" (with pineapple), which was not very popular.
PS to PB, I still think gluten is hurting you - that's my story and I'm sticking (no pun intended) to it! Feel better.

I went to a GI doc, went on a gluten-free diet for a period of 8 months- one of the most difficult things ever- and we didn't see any noticeable changes, so we're still going with IBS... Thanks for the concern, though :) Haven't heard from you in a while (I just got back on the boards).
Yeah, I was on a date/at a party, and they were all for pizza, I didn't have any cash (but since I brought over some #9s, they were more than happy to let me have some!) As a rule, I LOVE pineapple, but I'm so-so about mixing it with foods... It was very cheap pizza- tasty, but very greasy... I'm feeling a tad bit better now, but still kind of crappy. And adding very bad allergies on top of it is NOT fun.

Purps, this may sound crazy because I thought it sounded crazy, but you should check out accupuncture. I thought it was just for stress relief but Traditional Chinese Medicine is fucking insane. Apparently your body has 12 meridians that run through your body, and when you're allergic to something, a meridian is blocked. To unblock the meridian you use accupuncture.
I have athsma and I had really bad environmental allergies. I used to wake up and sneeze about 20 times and blow my nose for 15 minutes. That's all gone. I feel like an ex-leper. Obscure Life of Brian reference anyone?
But I also had allergies I didn't know about. Not really allergies per say, but I had slight reactions to corn, milk and processed sugars. And I always noticed after I ate corn or milk, my stomach was always a bit off for a while.
Try it out guys, I'm a real believer in TCM. They've been around for a long ass time and there's billions of them now. They obviously know how to survive.
