First time growing

So i walk ot side and i see a sativa about 5 maybe 6 inches tall
due to my excitment i carefully remove the plant with its roots in perfect shape
i run and grab a pot and some miracle-grow soil and plant it
i thought i killed it cuz it was drooping
so then i find a good location outside and put a stick in the ground to hold it up strait
the next day i go look at it and it is standing strait up towards the sun but some of the leaves dried up so i cliped them off
it is growing good now i have had it for a couple days and a new set of five point leaves are out (is that good or bad cuz my friends is budding but the is only 3 point leaves on it
i got 7 more that sprouted yesterday
