5ish is way too low for a soil grow,it should be around 6.5/7.0. What is that stuff on the top of the pot? You do know that if it organic,it will probably rot and release maybe un wanted thing into the soil. Hope this helps a little. RM.

Then its a coco setup. I've never grown in coco.....I understand it has it's own set of rules to play by. And I'm not sure that 5-ish is the ph you want for a coco grow. Hopefully someone who uses coco can help you out better there. Fill out the troubleshooting form at the top of the forum for better help. Sorry I'm not more help myself but I've never touched it.....don't they make special coco nutes?

Well they don't look on death's door like birdboy's stuff does to me (yikes!) but I have a feeling the root of his problem is most likely ph lockout......coco is notorious for needing it's own ph and unfortunately I don't know what that is. It's also known for needing (or not needing.....I can't remember which) extra calcium and/or magnesium. I think that's why they make special nutes just for coco growing.
Who knows the proper ph to water in coco, can anyone help?
