Hey guys, quick question here. I have four 150 watt (using 43 watts i believe)CFL's 2700k spectrum putting out 2500 lumens each. Is that enough light for one plant in veg and flower? Or do i need more light? i only want to grow one plant in this space. So i don't want to go overboard.

Not a cfl grower myself, but I think that would be the minimum setup you need to get some bud... Those 2700K might not be so good for veg, and could cause some stretching... My recommendation would be to get 4 more 43w cfls that are in the 6500K range, and that setup should give you very good results (as long as you can keep in the temps in range, and everything else is perfect). If you are worried about space, you can do some LST. Just my :twocents:

thanks a bunch. I was wondering if a Y adapter could easily double my CFL count. I have (gasp) 3 desk lamps, and one clamp light.

Easy fix or am i going to run into watttage issues? each desk lamp is rated only to 60 watts.

Hey do not try a y adapter in a lamp that can only handle 60w. It can handle that amount and that amount only no matter how many times you split it. I hope that is what you were asking in last post, I would hate to see you have a fire,,, fire is bad very very bad:thumbsup:
