I took a drug screen on Friday at a Quest. I wasn't given any time so I went with subbing with Quick Fix. For some stupid reason I topped the quick fix bottle of with a little water to make it a tad more than 2 oz. The water probably made up for 5% of the whole mixture. The test went clockwork and the temp was fine. There were no other issues and she said told me to be on my way... Could that little water have screwed up the integrity of the quick fix? or am I just being paranoid because I'm :stoned:....

I bought the quick fix from their main website Thursday and had it over-nighted to me and it was there Friday morning.

Should be ok,but never add tap water if you're on a public water system. It has flouride in it. Could test positive for adulterants.

oh damn...... it might have been. has fluoride been known to be labeled as a adulterant?

I read that they check for PCC/ocidants, and nitrites (among other things) to determine if the sample was adultered. I'm pretty sure fluoride is neither those things, any thoughts?

I believe like chlorene it can bind with thc molecules so its one of the things that is checked as an adulterant on a UA. It also changes the ph level which will raise a red flag too. Just depends on high the levels were.

Do u know the level of fluoride that constitutes a fail? Drinking water had about 1 ppm of Fluoride and the mixture was 5% drinking water and 95% QF. Also, PH of drinking water should be around 7 so I don't see that being a factor...

Has anyone ever heard of someone failing by adding a little water to QF?

If my sample was too dilute, would someone at the lab contact me? or would directly tell HR?

I took the test last Friday and I followed up with HR on Monday and they said they hadn't received the results and probably would get them on Tuesday but wouldn't contact me until the end of the week. IF they were dilute or fail, wouldn't HR have called me right then?

If you fail a lot of times they won't call you at all. They'll just move on to the next candidate. If you don't hear from them this week, I would give HR another call next monday or tuesday. Just tell them your anxious to go to work.

Its been a week since i tested and i contacted HR to confirm a start date. I was told everything was good on their end and they were a manager needed to contact me. I def thinks this means i passed,. QF all the way!
