Quantum Series Lighting balasts

Wondering if anyone has any info or heard about theses. I am wondering if they are any good.?:jointsmile:

I says it's UL listed and FCC compliant. That's good for a digital ballast. (not sure if UL 'listed'... is the same as UL 'rated'.. though?)

Finding compatible bulbs is the tricky part about digital ballasts.

So pimp you say that finding bulbs for certain Dig. Ballasts tricky huh.? If you don't mind me asking you what light setup you enjoy using..? Guess i am just holding up trying to get the right light. Just don't want to rush this you know..Seems like when i rush i always 4get or mess up lol. :rasta:Maybe i just smoke to dam much but who to say how much is to much...Well waiting for your expertise advise.:rastasmoke:

Golden- What kind of bulb he using. Or did he just purchase a set{bulb.ballast.reflector.cord.ect.}. An hows his setup everything working good for him no tech. probs. No problm with ballast/finding bulbs anything you can think of that i can't.

Just would like to take this time to say thanx, to my fellow smokers on this board that has stopped by an took time to help me get the right info. I am looking for the right set up for me before i Start my own Grow And i just value other people opinions. I am not the type of person that likes to rush into something when there might have been better way to do it. Thanx for your time and for stopping by

he bought the set. i'm not sure the type of bulb, but whatever it came with. he ordered off ebay, and the only problem he had was under-ventilating his hood. had temps in the 90s with the ballast at 100%. so until he could fix it, he ran it at 75%. imo, his 600W is a little big for his area, too, but it works for him. good luck, KBG

your choice of ballasts may be affected, if your area has frequent power outages/fluctuations ... the old-school magnetic ballasts tolerate 'bad power' better, the new electronic ballasts are more efficient, but also more 'delicate' ... at my supplier, the cheap ballasts had the same 5-year warranty as the expensive electronic ballasts, so I went cheap ... no problems ... :smokin:

Okay i do not have really any frequent power outages/fluctuations in this area. But i will take it all into consideration....
