Different bud appearances?

Hey, i picked up a bag of bud tonight off my usual guy and when i got home to examine and drool over the buds i noticed that they both looked different. i got 2 very dense big buds. One was long and rather skinny and darker in colour...still smelling lovely and potent...but the other one was lighter in colour, and alot more frosty looking. Heavier crystalage.

Just wondering can u get 2 different looking types of bud off the same plant? maybe theres a difference if located in different areas of the plant? or is it most likely 2 different strains?

I also think that the frostier one is stinkier!!

It could be the same strain but different phenotypes or how ever you spell it. As the colors i have seen lighter and darker buds from same plant before. But not to sure might of harvested different parts of the plant different times. Were the highs kinda the same or oppisite or what.? They taste close to the same...completly different...? I am just a bit little curious. Maybe your guy was at the end of his stash and just was trying to keep a littler of each bud he had.:rastasmoke: I know i do it sometimes for my friends but i tell them whats what tho. lol, i have never had this happen. i always check the buds before i hand them the cash. :wtf:

but yeah it sounds like you probably got a mixed sack. :stoned:

do they smoke different? smell different?

MPLSweedman... I know exactly what you talkin bout. They would to if they was here in MN. Or close round da sotapop. Its a way dealers strech out they good and profit more off they green. But i have to keep it real the Nugz,dro,beasters, whatever you wanna call it up here in murdaapolis is garbage unless you getting it direct from sum1 who grows. And half the time the harvest to early. I mean in CHI-Town they Schwag/Reg.. smell/smoke like the nugz/dro/beasters/w/e you call it that is up here..Imagine that hmm..:rastasmoke:

Could be two different strains, or it could be the same strain and just two nugs from two different plants from the same grow... Who says each nug in your bag has to be from the same plant? We all know that its nearly impossible to identify strains by appearance because they can take on many different forms depending on growing conditions.

I like the mixed bags, myself (if its all quality). I'll also trade nugs with friends. Two types of killer weed is better than one!
