Well in about or two i'm going to be starting some brainstorm seeds (Northern Lights #5 x Pure Haze) and I have a problem. As far as watering when their in containers I have a good understand of how much to water but what I'm not so clear about is once their actually planted in the earth (no container). Is there any rule of thumb for this type of thing or is it truly something I have to work at developing a plan for myself with?

Kind of depends on where you are as to what kind of temps you have in the summer time. But usually a good soaking once a week will do it.

Depending on where you're located july is pretty late to plant. Middle of april usually works out pretty good.
