ok i am moving up north to the sac area and looking at two homes and i want to set up an expensive grow room, professional set up $10-$15,000+

one house has an unfinished 2600 square feet under it with dirt floors. it was a whole wing of the home that was never completed so i can use that.

the other home has a 4 car garage and its split so i can use one of the two car spaces so its like a normal two car garage space to grow in.

i want to know the following for each house 2 car space vs 2600 square ft
- how many plants i can grow in each space with room to move around
- how many lights will be needed and the cost to buy them all
- which strain is best for that space and is fast at growing and puts out big
- time frame from seed to harvest
- estimates on how much i would get out, pounds ?
- whats best to grow in for the area - custom planter with soil, pots, ground
- what are my true costs for the high end set up?
- what feminized seeds cost and or is that the best way to start?

if my numbers are to low for built and set up cost tell me what it should or would cost and which area would be best?

i am kind of leaning towards the home with the 2600 sq ft to use because that is a butt load of space and would work nicely. but its twice the cost to get that home vs. the one with the garage so i need your help!

i am only looking to grow for the clubs in the area and myself but i want to get the most out of the space so please give me your thoughts.

if someone can break it down for me as to like what lights, how many i need, sites to get it all at, ect ect that would be awesome!!!!

PS: i heard about LED grow lights that hardly use power so the bill stays normal and doesn't throw up the red flags, anyone heard about them?

1.Go with the house that has the garage.
2.The size grow you want will require more than l.e.d. can do.
3.we dont talk about commercial grows here,so when you speak...try to "minimize" the size of your actual set-up.
4.Sacramento rock's! thats my home town. (citrus height's/orangevale)
5.check out some of the grow log's they will answer many of your question's

sorry, didnt know about the size thing

wont i be able to get more out of the bigger space then the garage space?

my main goal is higher profit in shorter time period so i would think the other space would work better....

i can change the light source easily, i was just wondering about the led thing

i kind of want to start it all at the same time and get it all to finish at the same time but i might mix up the strains so the harvest time will vary

If you havent done this before you had better start off small and practice. If you dont have the experience its doubtful you will make anything worthwile for the clubs unless you have some special contact or mentor. Not trying to discourage your idea just seen to many people go broke with big aspirations.Best of luck in your endeavor and hope you realize how rewarding your work can be without financial gain.Peace

there is no place on earth, WORSE, to do an indoor commercial grow, than the Sacramento area :S2: .... you must not read newspapers, or waste your time watching the NEWS :wtf: ... the Sacramento/Roseville area has been the site of hundreds of HUGE indoor busts, over the last few years ... mostly run by Chinese gangs out of the Bay Area, the papers say (they will carve your ass up, they don't fuck around :wtf:) ... I'd rather pass out anti-alcohol literature at a St. Patties' Parade, than compete with them :D ... and, we don't do commercial here :admin1:

agree with Reaper. Indoor busts right and left in those areas. You won't get far with secrecy unless you're willing to go into the mountains and grow guerilla style. Moving to CA means you CAN get an mmj rec but it certanly won't be legal to grow the amounts you are talking. This is not a "sales" cannabis site........we try to stay with the medical aspect of mj. How many plants you can stuff in your garage and how much money you hope to get out of it aren't the kind of thing we discuss around here. I'd try another site; this one doesn't seem to be for you but what do I know.

good luck.

oh sorry, i'm new and didnt know you dont talk profit on here

oh and the area i would be living is very high end and not just anyone can go there unless you are on the list to get past the armed guards.

the house is up in the hills on and acre with neighbors far from me who aren't the wiser. old retired folks who would think its poison oak if they saw it LOL

so i am safe in where i would be growing and the space is like the bottom of a house which is half way under the ground with only 2 ways in. those two ways would be covered up and or hidden very well so you would never know the space was there. 5000 square ft home is big enough so you would never think there is another 2600 square ft area hidden somewhere

i just need advice as to the set up and and best strains, lights, spacing, time frames and best ways to grow it. ect ect

i would hire someone in that area who knew what they were doing and has been doing it for a while to help me set everything up when i got up there. but i would need to know by feed back on here or somewhere that you are worth the time and money and have people to back you up!

hit me up on here and i will shoot you my direct email to chat if you are this person or think you know of this person.

dr. green thumb where are you??? LOL
