Doctors in RI

Are there any doctors in RI that anyone can reccomend to me so I can get my MMJ card. I have a debhilitating condition, but my regular Internal Medicine Dr. doesnt believe in using Marijuana. If you cant post the name, can you possibly Message me with a few names? Thanks everyone..

doesn't seem to be. I can't help anyone find a doctor but i can help with some things. I am a MMJ Caregiver and have success in cultivation. So far :)

i'd suggest you attend a community meeting of RIPAC, a patient advocacy
group here in RI that helps patients and caregivers.

they don't recommend Dr's per se, but i'm sure you will be able to get a list
of mmj doctors from them, unofficialy at least.

you're welcome, i'm glad to help you as others helped me, that's what it's all
about, sharing the love, lol.

anyway, this site doesn't have private messaging so no way to do it here.
keep in mind that your security should be uppermost in your mind until you are
completely legal, as i am not. my doctors all work for the federal government
so no recommendations from them i'm afraid.

in any event, if you have any questions you should just ask them, there are many
fine people here who go out of their way to help others so any questions you ask
will be answered from many different perspectives.

also, you should consider growing your own rather than finding a caregiver.

as a lifelong smoker (i started blazing in '68) and a relatively new grower myself
(2 years, approx.) i can't stress enough how much love you get from
the growing itself, for me, that has become even more relaxing and enjoyable
than smoking.

and it really isn't all that hard, if you can grow tomato's in your back yard,
you can grow weed in your closet.

Try googling Holistic or Naturopathic Physicians in Rhode Island and just make sure that they can prescribe medicine in RI

Hey Randy, and everyone else.. I live in Cranston RI, id love to get the name of that Doctor, My primary thinks im a looser for even asking. It's not right that it is this hard. I have 2 herniated disc L4-5 and L5-S1, both compressing nerves down my leg, needless to say I have chronic back, hip, ass, and leg pain every single day. My primary will throw me a Vic a day tho with no promblems, go figure, but marijuana oh no! Its ridiculous. Hes also given me adivan for anxiety, but god forbid I smoke a joint, or eat a brownie or something... I think between the chronic pain, anxiety, and the constant stomach cramps I get from all the stress should warant me a Card... Any comments out there? also my email address is [email protected], someone send me the name of a Dr that has a clue, that one in Cranston woulD be great, but ill take any. I shouldnt have to suffer AND I dont want to break the law just to manage my pain naturally.

Dude I have been on these boards for a while and finally got up the nerve to ask 4 help getting a Dr as I definitely qualify according to the rules. I think you are very compassionate and helpful the world needs more of this.

Man I hear you have been to a few mtgs while the peeps r cool I need a Doc not a meeting if meetings cured pain we would not need MM.

Hello.
I would like to apply for mmj but I cannot find a doctor to follow up with. I have ssi because I am disabled and suffer from chronic pain, muscle spasms, nausea , ptsd, severe depression, bi polar disorder,hemipoligic migraines caused by a blood vessel disorder, diabetic retnapathy, and have a history of stroke and epilepsy. I find that I am allergic to a lot of pain medications, and that recently the medication for my migraines and blood vessel contriction has been discontinued. I'm tierd of taking medication that counter acts and find that when I smoke It relieves not only the pain but brightens my spirits and allows me to calmly function with lil to no side effects (drowsiness being the only one) compared to what meds I have been on. I've never had any arrests, and I've never been in trouble with the law..I just want to live through a day where pain isn't so overwhelming that I can't even get out of bed... Can anyone help?

I went there yesterday, I highly recommend. It's not a free ride as it cost $300 and you need documentation of your illness. But if your Dr. will not sign the form, this is a quick, easy, and professional route.
