The problem I'm having is some really airy buds. I'm 7 weeks into flower. I'm not a rookie, but not a pro either. I've had my script to grow for about five years. I moved last year and didn't think I was gonna grow any more because my new house is so small.
What a joke. I should have known better. i cloned for sex kept a couple to try as mothers and threw the others into flower. I can't figure out why the buds are so airy.
I'm using 2 600 watt hps over two plants. one is a purple power and the other is k2. If the buds were filled in they would be huge, but I can see right through them. :what:

Under that kind of lighting, you should have no problem at all getting dense buds. Are your plants growing healthy from start to finish? I grow under a single 1KW and the only way I get airy buds is when the plants are really stressed. I fought a 4 month battle with root rot and it made sure all my buds ended up weighing nothing come harvest time. Very frustrating. But that is the only thing I can think of other than genetics. Are they from a breeder or bag seeds?

Hurry as fast as possible to your grow shop, or be ready to pay for some overnight shipping, and buy some Mad Farmer Mother Of All Blooms And molasis but the mother of all blooms is more important. I think its to late for super dense buds but this will definitely increase density.
I got some for free because my local grow shop was giving away free samples. They gave me 4 bags, each bag had maybe 16 tablespoons. (they gave me a lot) I used it on on 50% of my crop. ( I have 2 reservoirs) It was definitely evident that the nugs were much denser and weighed 20% more.
I was using GH and sweeth a Ph pH of 5.85
