Did I damage my switchable ballast or the MH lamp?

I setup my new system and all went well until I realized I had left my 400w switchable ballast set to HPS instead of MH....

I turned off the ballast for a few minutes, switched it to MH, and turned it back on. After a few minutes the lamp starts flickering and has low intensity.

Did I fry my ballast or the bulb?

When I switch it back to HPS it goes back to full brightness....

I don't know, but you can call or e-mail the mfgr and ask them, if nobody else chimes in. Good luck.

Oh, also...did you try switching bulbs and seeing if the other side works ok?

yup I fried it....

new ballast and it works fine again...
